However, as much as I hate to admit it, these buffs really don't help Garchomp much. Garchomp has been possibly the worst 'mon in the game for too long. Maybe bringing it back to how it was at its release is a bit too much, though.
Were these buffs enough to bring the king of All-Rounders back? No.
Is Crustle better now after the buffs? YES! Nobody really expected Crustle (along with the rest of these mons) to get any buffs, but let's hope these unexpected patches keep coming.įrom unite-db (this is the one instance I looked at unite-db): It also dealt damage to enemies who attacked it called "revenge damage." X-Scissor was a pretty annoying move at the start, immobilizing the target near Crustle and pushing them back quite a bit, but now Crustle can do more of this faster.Ĭrustle's Unite Move was pretty annoying before the buff because Crustle could always be in your face and deal massive damage with the massive speed boost it gets from it AND the rocks around Crustle which deal extra damage. Sturdy gives Crustle extra Defense and Special Defense for every 7% of missing HP Crustle has, which stacks at most 10 times.ĭefense and Special Defense per level: 1 -> 2
POKEMON UNITE DB GARCHOMP PATCH
It took me 2 days to finally find everything that happened in the patch (and I even cheated a bit and looked at unite-db's patch notes don't yell at me)įrom this patch I can tell that they're trying to get the "bad" stuff to be "good." Did it work? Some of it did, some of it didn't.
